Christmas Gift Guide – For Anyone!

Christmas gift ideas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We’re less than 2 weeks away! Have you gotten started on your shopping yet? This year I surprised myself and I have to say for the first time in NEVER, I’m actually going to have all of my gifts picked out way ahead of time!

I’ve gotten all of my in-person shopping out of the way, I just have a few online orders from Amazon that should be getting delivered today! Thank GOD for Amazon Prime, I don’t know about you but I become their biggest fan during Christmas time, that 2-day free shipping really comes in handy!

Now that I’m fresh out of the holiday shopping trenches, I’m ready to share some of my recommendations and gift ideas (for anyone!) that should help spark some ideas if you’re unsure of what to buy!

Makeup & Skincare

ABH Soft Glam Palette: I talked about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette in my Sephora reccos post. A great, everyday palette!

Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette: I’ve both received and given this palette as a gift – and I’ll be gifting it again to someone this year! (Shhh!) It’s a good one for the all matte eyeshadow lover!

Clarisonic: A game changer in my skincare routine! See how it cleared my dark spots in my skincare post! There’s one for women and one for men.

Jade Roller: After talking about my love for this, a couple of you purchased this one! It’s affordable and gets the job done!

Dr Jart Face Masks:  A great gift set for the mask lover.

Laneige Sleep and Glow Set: Ummm, OOPS I kinda bought this for MYSELF as I was Christmas shopping for others. I love Laneige lip masks so I couldn’t resist the great value of this set! I can’t wait to try the skin moisturizers!

Fragrance/Body

Sephora Perfume/Cologne Sampler: Ok, if you don’t know what to get someone, THIS IT IT! Inside this box, they’ll get a bunch of fragrance samples to try out.  They choose a favorite, and then take the included scent certificate to any Sephora store to redeem for a FULL SIZE of their favorite one at no extra cost! You’re giving the gift of choice, so you can’t go wrong! They have one for men and one for women.

Tech

Echo Dot (AKA Amazon’s Alexa!): This is on MY personal wishlist this year. I’ve put off buying it forever.

Amazon Fire Stick: For the binge watcher on the go, this is a done deal! You can plug it up to any TV and have access to all your streaming services!

Fitbit: Loved when I received this as a gift a couple years ago, and haven’t been able to live without it since! I NEED to know how many calories I’m burning when I workout so I can tell if I’m working hard enough! You can track calorie intake and sleep patterns too. I have the Fitbit Charge HR, but they’ve come out with so many more models to choose from since!

Apple Airpods: Anyone can use headphones. Why not buy someone the latest and greatest?

Portable Charger: Because it will save your life, every time. I bought one for myself a few months ago to get me through 4 days at Lollapalooza, and let me tell ya, now I carry one with me full time!

Mini Instax Camera: Cameras are great gifts in general – this one is a fun, affordable one that prints portable for the vintage feel. You can also take it up a notch by getting some fun accessories to go with it! You can find fun Mini Instax photo frames and cases at places like Nordstrom Rack and Urban Outfitters.

Clothing & Accessories

Clothes: When it comes to articles of clothing, I always fear I’ll get the wrong size, so it’s safe to stick to things like cardigans/sweaters/robes/pajamas for this. (Unless you know the person REALLY well)  You can rarely go wrong with items like these that look very forgiving if it’s not the perfect fit!

Shoes: I always ask for shoes. Things I’ve received and given in the past include Ugg Boots, Converse, or even slippers.

Hats: Beanies, Baseball caps for the guys in your life, floppy hats, whatever your loved one is into – head gear is always a fun and easy gift that has one for every type of personality out there.

Scarves: Personally I’m SICK of receiving these, but most people love to load up on em!

Sunglasses: SUCH a great gift! Some great ones I recommend are Ray Bans or, for something more affordable, Quay Australia.

Backpack – How often do you get a backpack? There’s so many options too! Backpack purses, backpacks for school, work, travel, etc.

Jewelry

Necklaces: I love these monogrammed Kate Spade necklaces!

Watch: My dad collect watches, so we get him one every year!
